1. APRIL FOOL'S DAY (ENGLISH)

April Fool's Day, is not a holiday, but it is celebrated in many countries on April 1. On April Fool's Day people play jokes on friends and neighbours. At work you may be sent on a fools' errand, which can be embarrassing. In some countries, April Fool's jokes (also called "April fools") must only be made before midday. The April 1st tradition in France includes poisson d'avril (which means "April's fish" in English).

2. ДИКТАНТ (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

Я живу во Франции и всегда мечтала выучить русский язык. Для этого я смотрю фильмы и слушаю музыку на русском языке. Чтобы лучше писать, я читаю русские книги и пишу диктанты. Я уже немного понимаю русскую речь и продолжаю совершенствовать свои навыки.

3. FOOTBALL (ENGLISH)

Football is the world's most popular sport. In some countries, such as the United States, football is called soccer. In a game of football there are 2 (two) teams. Each team has 11 (eleven) players. A football match lasts 90 (ninety) minutes. At the end of a match, the team that has scored the most goals is the winner.

4. МОЁ УТРО. (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

В будни я обычно встаю в восемь утра. Чтобы быстрее проснуться, я иду в ванную и умываюсь холодной водой.Затем я делаю зарядку и готовлю завтрак: кашу или омлет. После завтрака я чищу зубы и собираюсь на работу.

5. HOW MUCH COFFEE DOES MR BEAN DRINK? (ENGLISH)

Mr Bean drinks 8 cups of coffee a day. Mrs Bean thinks that Mr Bean drinks too much coffee. Mr Bean asked, " How many cups of coffee do you normally drink?" Mrs Bean replied, "I only drink 2 cups of coffee a day." Mr Bean promised not to drink so much coffee in the future.

6. МОЙ ДРУГ. (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

У меня есть лучший друг. Его зовут Антон. Он брюнет с зелёными глазами. Мы знакомы уже больше десяти лет. Антон очень любит путешествовать. Ещё он занимается велоспортом и часто ходит в бассейн. Антон - очень хороший человек, я ему доверяю и всегда могу на него рассчитывать.

7. MY FRIEND LOOKS LIKE. (ENGLISH)

My friend looks like George Clooney. He doesn't look exactly like him though. He isn't very fit. Because, he is a little lazy. He likes to go for long drives in the country. But, he doesn't like to go walking.

8. ОТПУСК НА МОРЕ (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

Моя сестра Аня обожает проводить свой отпуск на море. Обычно она ездит отдыхать с друзьями. Они купаются, загорают и играют в волейбол. Иногда они ездят на экскурсии, чтобы познакомиться достопримечательностями.

9. ON NEW YEAR'S DAY. (ENGLISH)

I was in England on New Year's Eve. On New Year's Day I woke up very late. I had a shower and then got dressed. I went downstairs and had breakfast with my husband. We didn't eat dinner until 3 o'clock. After dinner we went for a walk. It rained all day. In the evening we watched TV. We went to bed quite late. Happy New Year!

10. ДОМАШНИЕ ЖИВОТНЫЕ (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

Я очень люблю животных. У меня есть кот. Его зовут Барсик. Ему уже пять лет. Он любит сидеть у окошка и смотреть на улицу. Ешё я очень хочу завести собаку. Я мечтала об этом с детства. Надеюсь, что в скором времени я смогу осуществить эту мечту.

11. ST PATRICK'S DAY (ENGLISH)

Saint Patrick's Day celebrates Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. It is usually celebrated on March 17. The day is a bank holiday in Northern Ireland and a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland. It is celebrated in Great Britain, Australia, the United States and New Zealand too, but in these places it is not an official holiday.

12. ДЕНЬ МАТЕРИ (РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК)

В России День матери отмечается в последнее восскресенье ноября. Этот день мы стараемся проводить рядом с нашими матерями. Мы дарим им цветы и символические подарки.

13. THANKSGIVING (ENGLISH)

Thanksgiving Day is not a British holiday, it's an American holiday. It's held every year on the Thursday before the last Sunday in November. American families get together to show thanks for the year's harvest, as the Pilgrim Fathers did in 1621 after being taught how to grow corn by the native Americans. The meal eaten on this day usually includes turkey and pumpkin pie.

Новый год - один из самых любимых праздников в России. Новый год - это время чудес и волшебства, радости и улыбок. Новый год - это время исполнения всех самых заветных желаний. Пусть Новый год принесёт вам много ярких и позитивных впечатлений!

15. THE TIME (ENGLISH)

What's the time, please? What time is it, please? Excuse me. Do you know what time it is? Have you got the time, please? Could you tell me the time, please? It's 8 o'clock (eight o'clock) (8:00). It's quarter past 10 (ten) (10:15). It's time to get up. It's time to go to work. It's time to go to bed. It's bedtime.
